US to host military drills with Central and South Asian nations

Washington, May 12 (UNI) The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) has announced plans to conduct large-scale military exercises in June involving participants from nearly a dozen Central and South Asian countries.
In a statement posted on X, CENTCOM said it will host Exercise Regional Cooperation 2026 in the United States next month, bringing together military personnel from multiple partner nations.
According to CENTCOM, the participating forces will undergo training aimed at enhancing operational readiness, improving coordination, and strengthening regional security cooperation across Central and South Asia.
